About Department

Message by HOD to students

A warm welcome to the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering…
The significant infrastructural design, well-equipped laboratories, computers with latest configuration and high-speed internet facility along with qualified faculty members ensure the standard of education delivered from our department. Our department has consistently maintained an exemplary academic record and results. The greatest asset of the department is its highly motivated and learned Teaching and Non-Teaching faculty.
Students and Friends…
The trials of yesterday are behind you. A new school day dawns, and with it come possibilities. Chances for success, empathy, and discovery are abundant. Inspiration is everywhere you look. The opportunity to be better than you were yesterday is right here, right now.
Eric Thomas claims, “When you want to succeed as badly as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful”. So, what do we say about pursuing success? According to me: it will be hard, it will be exhausting, and sometimes it will be lonely, but it will be worth it. If you want it bad enough, you’ll never give up though the worst goes before you.
There’s nothing you can’t do if you really want to. Great things begin with small actions. World’s greatest humanitarians, Mother Teresa use to say- “We can do no great things, only small things with great love”.
Students, friends, I am always here to help you, but you’ve got to take the lead. The teacher is no longer the gatekeeper of all knowledge. Their role has switched to guide, assistant, and enabler of student potential. The responsibility for learning and succeeding, however, is still of student.
Friends, I believe in you…And remember…You’re not alone...

About EXTC Department

A warm welcome to the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering…
The Department was established in the year 1998 with a starting intake of 40 students which gets revised to 60 students, in 1999. The significant infrastructural design, well-equipped laboratories, computers with latest configuration and high-speed internet facility along with qualified faculty members ensure the standard of education delivered from our department.
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a dynamic and exciting area that provides excellent career opportunities in various areas of technology. The department faculties are committed to teach our students the fundamental concepts and the latest trends via smart teaching and learning process. The students are also taught with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories and through E-Club [Electronic Club].
E-Club [Electronic Club] - run by SE, TE and BE EXTC students only.  The main goal of E-Club is to Motivate students to learn advanced technologies in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Encourage students to use in-house resources and talent. Students from SE to BE can join the club. Forms groups according to their skills and the students share their knowledge among them. For this availability of laboratory is made beyond working hours for the students.
We have ELITE – Student’s Association, which unite students to participate and contribute towards the activities organized, Inculcate managerial skills among students. Main objective of ELITE is to bring about the technical development of students by organizing seminars & workshops and many events.
Our ADVENT: “Advancement in Electronics & Telecommunication   Engineering, is a Departmental Wall Magazine, Fortnightly Published. Main objective of ADVENT is to publish recent advancements in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, to nurture curricular & Cocurricular Skills of the Students.
Students are provided internship facility in organizations like BSNL, Radio-Aakashwani, TV Station, Konkan Railway, etc. The department conducts various workshops, expert talks and training programs on recent trends in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in collaboration with industries for the benefit of faculty and students.
