Mr. G. V.Burshe , Assistant Professor, RMCET, Ambav
Coordinator: Mr. A.A.Tatugade (HOD EXTC)
Objective of Seminar: To create awareness about Arduino board, Arduino IDE, programing with Arduino, advantages and applications of Arduino.

About Workshop:
Electronics & Telecommunication engineering department always arranges seminars and workshops to facilitate students to get knowledge in various fields. Diploma Students who are doing Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (E&TC) have better scope in future if they utilize their engineering projects in the right manner.
Over the year Arduino has become brain of various electronics projects. To develop electronics projects by diploma students, it is necessary to take initiative and develop programing skills with the help of electronics development board.  Arduino Uno became more popular controller because of its very useful features. The drawbacks of microcontroller like 8051 and 8052 can be cured with this Arduino Uno controller. It can be connected via USB slot. As we know C++ language is very popular so, that advantage is useful in Arduino Uno. Becoming familiar with Arduino is one step towards developing electronics project.
A hand on training was provided to the diploma students with the help of Arduino Uno and Peripheral boards. 80% of time was utilized for hand-on.

Duration:
This one-day workshop was held on 15th Feb 2019. Student gained valuable hands-on experience.
Number of Beneficiary: 33 students from Government Polytechnic, Ratnagiri
Software tool: Arduino IDE.
